Our hearts are heavy for Wendy Turner and her family following the sudden and very unexpected death of Wendy's mother following complications from a stroke. Please remember Wendy, Rob, their children and their family during this time of grief and loss.
I very much appreciated Bro. Rick's sermon last Sunday morning about prayer -- especially the importance of praying for others (including those we care about as well as those we perhaps are not as inclined to care about). In my experience, most people are almost always dealing with what they would consider a stressful situation: the loss or illness of a loved one; relationship with spouse, child, parent, friend; financial challenges; situation with work; and the list goes on. Praying for them is a very real way we can help.
When the Lord brings a name to mind (friend or foe), let's view that as an opportunity to pray for that person. It may be helpful to them, and it most assuredly will be helpful to us.
Congratulations to Michael, Jamie and Eli Finch on the birth of a son and brother, Jude Michael Finch.
