During his two decades of service in the local schools, Smith made his mark with scores of students and educators.

"Each of us recognizes what a tremendous inspiration Mr. Henry was — to our kids, to our staff, and to our entire community," declared Carrell Boyd, Caldwell County School Superintendent.
