Subject: Disaster Relief Survey

Andrew,

We think it would be great if your class is sent the survey on line. I have attached a copy for you. Please ask them to make a hard copy and bring in this Sunday.

If you could appoint one or two from your class to be responsible for turning them in, that would be great. Also, we need those volunteers to make sure each person in the class fills one out. That would be a great outreach to your class members if they have not been attending.

Each person…husband and wife needs to fill one out.

The first page is for family preparedness.

The second page will be giving us basic information for the data base.

The third page will be for those would be willing to volunteer during a disaster.

The fourth page has to do with equipment, buildings, vehicles, etc that could be used during a disaster.

Turn in the ones you have Sunday to the Welcome Center . Then take the next couple of weeks to pull in one for each class member. Please contact each member. If a member does not want to be in the data base, simply fill out the name on the survey and write across the top ….Not participating!

Thanks so much,

Barbara

Andrew,

Just want to ask for prayer for Jeff Sisk and his family. His father passed away this morning after a long illness. Even though it was expected, it's still a hard thing to deal with, so they will need our prayers.

Thanks,
Mike

Prayer Request

Please be in prayer for Kahle Morris and a family member he is trying to help (not Karen or the girls). In part because of his gifts and in part because he is the only brother of three sisters, a great deal of responsibility has been put on Kahle over the years, which he has gladly accepted.
The battle in this particular situation has intensified. Kahle continues to make good, sound decisions to help, but he also covets our prayers. Please pray that Kahle would continue to seek and be led by God's Spirit, and that his family member would as well.
Thanks.

SelfStudy Sunday School

Hey Team,

I hope many of us will accept Bro. Rick's challenge to read the various Gospel accounts of the events surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord this week. Towards that end, may I suggest the following passages:

Matthew 26-28
Mark 14-16
Luke 22-24
John 18-20 (21)

As you might expect, the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) track pretty closely, but there are slight variations in each which are, of course, important. The account in John is also very powerful.

I believe we are going to try to begin reading these accounts tonight, as a family, continuing through Sunday. However you want to do it would be great. This is an exciting time in the life of all Christians, and a great opportunity for us to teach and reinforce with our children the true meaning of Easter.

Hope to see you Sunday!

Press on....

Possible Fellowship

Hey Team,
We are thinking about having a Sunday School class fellowship on April 17. The CLC is not available on that date (or any time in the near future), so our only option is the Fellowship Hall. I realize there are not as many things to do in the Fellowship Hall, especially for children.
Although I know some of you are out of town and may not see this email until the end of the week, please let me know at your earliest convenience (be replying to this email) if you would be inclined to participate in a class fellowship on April 17, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. It would be a potluck. If we have enough interest we will go forward. If not, we will wait until the summer.
Thanks.
Press on.
